RITZVILLE - The staff at Ritzville's Carnegie Library keeps the fun coming for youth and adults.
Youth Services Librarian Megan Wills said the library continues with the popular Dungeons and Dragons gatherings Jan. 18 and 25 at noon and "an adult night for those 16 or older" on Jan. 8 at 5:30 p.m.
The Page Turners Book Club for those 8-12 years old is where "You get a free book every month," Wills said. The next meeting is Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. and looks at "The Raven and Other Poems" of Edgar Allen Poe.
"Next month's book is called Remarkably Ruby and you can pick that up on Jan. 9," Wills said.
The Library Lego Club meets Jan. 15 at 4 p.m. and the theme is a snowman.
"If you build a snowman, you get to pick a prize out of our treasure chest," Wills said.
She said High School Board Game Night meets Jan. 16 at 4 p.m., "but that will change. Next month could be a craft night."
Wills said the Movie Matinee on Jan. 22 will feature Harold and the Purple Crayon at 4 p.m.
"We just got a popcorn machine," Wills said, "so we will make fresh popcorn and watch the movie."
"Liquid Lit is our adult book club, for a nice book, talk and dinner," said Stefani Kanzler, Library Assistant Two.
That group next meets Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Mi Jalisco's Restaurant.
The book for discussion will be The Author's Guide to Murder by Beatriz Williams, which the library describes as "a crime novelist caught in a deadly mystery when a real murder mirrors her latest plot. As secrets unravel, she must navigate danger, deception and intrigue to uncover the truth in the thrilling blend of suspense and wit."
