Correction

The Lind Town Council reduced street repair funds to a 70%-30% split of property taxes during a recent meeting. The corrected amounts are $95,412 times 70 % or $66,788.40 for current expenses, while the streets portion was $95,412 times 30% or $28,623,60. A front page story in the Dec. 18, 2024, edition of The Journal incorrectly reported the split.
