RITZVILLE - Adams County recently received a Washington State Association of County Engineers first-place award for asphalt pavement construction.
County Engineer Scott Yaeger presented the plaque during last week's Adams County Commission meeting.
The award is "in recognition of the high quality asphalt pavement construction, reconstruction of Deal Road, MP 0.00 to 2.80, Contract CRP-197, which is rated the best county asphalt paving project in the State of Washington during the year 2023."
