SUMMARY OF Ordinance 24-08

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING RATES AND CHARGES FOR SEWERAGE SERVICES AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE COSTS OF RELATED FACILITIES; AND AMENDING SECTION ONE (1) OF ORDINANCE 23-07.

Be it ordained by the Town Council of the Town of Lind, Adams County, Washington, as follows, to-wit:

Section One: That Section One (1) of Ordinance 23-07 of the Town of Lind be hereby amended to read as follows:

The following minimum rates and charges shall take effect on January 1, 2025 and are hereby fixed for sewerage services and shall be paid therefore, to-wit:

Beginning January 1, 2025, the Town of Lind shall increase the basic monthly sewerage service for all users by one and seventy-four hundredths percent (1.74%) and rounded as Council decision, on the 1st day of January each year thereafter. The minimum monthly sewerage service rates shall be as follows:

All residences having sewer connections $77.00

All family units, apartments (per unit) $77.00

All motels $102.85

Small business places, stores, garages and

service stations $90.00

For the buildings and facilities of Lind School

District No. 158 $540.00

All other users not listed (not less than) $77.00
