PUBLIC NOTICE OF

APPLICATION TO CHANGE TWO (2) GROUNDWATER CERTIFICATES

TAKE NOTICE:

That Gavin Johnson, Johnson-Reaugh, LLC of Othello, WA on June 25, 2024, filed Water Right Change Application No. CG3-GWC5593@1 to transfer the place of use as granted under Groundwater Certificate No. 5593-A.

That Groundwater Certificate No. 5593-A authorizes the withdrawal of 1250 gallons per minute, 1680 acre-feet per year, for the seasonal irrigation of 1280 acres.

The authorized points of withdrawal are from seven wells located as follows: Well 1) NW¼SW¼ of Sec. 24, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., Well 2) NE¼NE¼ of Section 19, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., Well 3)

SE¼SE¼ of Section 21, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., Well 4) NW¼SW¼ of Section 30, T. 15 N., R. 32

E.W.M., Well 5) SE¼NE¼ of Section 6, T. 15 N., R. 32 E.W.M., Well 6) SE¼SE¼ of Section 7, T. 15

N., R. 32 E.W.M., Well 7) SW¼NW¼ of Section 8, T. 15 N., R. 32 E.W.M.

The currently authorized place of use is described as 1,280 acres described as pivots within Section 23 (472 acres), S½ of Section 24 (238 acres), SW¼ of Section 25 (119) acres, and Section

27 (451 acres), T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M.

That Mr. Johnson proposes to change the place of use of Groundwater Certificate No. 5593-A as follows:

• 451 acres to remain within, and 27 acres to be moved (478 acres total) within Section 27,

• 118 acres to remain within, and 25 acres to be moved (143 acres total) to the NE¼ of Section 23,

• 354 acres to remain within, and 60 acres to be moved (414 acres total) to the NW¼ and S½ of Section 23,

• 238 acres to remain within, and 7 acres to be moved (245 acres total) to be moved to the S½ of Section 24

All within T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., Adams County, Washington.

Protests to this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for the objections. Protests must be accompanied with a fifty dollar ($SO.OD) non-refundable recording fee.
