APPLICATION TO CHANGE A WATER RIGHT

TAKE NOTICE:

That Gavin Johnson, G&O Johnson, LLC, of Othello, WA on June 25, 2024, filed Water Right Change Application No. CG3-01468C@2 to transfer the place of use as granted under Groundwater Certificate No. G3-01468C.

That Groundwater Certificate No. G3-01468C authorizes the withdrawal of 2000 gallons per minute, 1400 acre-feet per year, each year, for the seasonal irrigation of 560 acres.

That the currently authorized points of withdrawal are from seven wells located as follows: Well 1) SW¼NW¼SW¼ of Section 24, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., Well 2) NE¼NE¼NE¼ of Section 19,

T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., Well 3) SE¼SE¼SE¼ of Section 21, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., Well 4)

SW¼NW¼SW¼ of Section 30, T. 15 N., R. 32 E.W.M., Well 5) NE¼SE¼NE¼ of Section 6, T. 15 N.,

R. 32 E.W.M., Well 6) NE¼SE¼SE¼ of Section 7, T. 15 N., R. 32 E.W.M., and Well 7) SE¼SW¼NW¼ of Section 8, T. 15 N., R. 32 E.W.M.

That the currently authorized place of use is within the NE¼ of Section 6, W½ of Section 18,

T. 15 N., R. 32 E.W.M., and E½ of Section 13, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M.

That Mr. Johnson proposes to change the place of use of Groundwater Certificate No. G3- 01468C as follows: 172 acres to the S½NW¼ and” S½ of Section 22, and 48 acres to the E½ of Section 13, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M., and 100 acres to Section 19, T. 15 N., R. 32 E.W.M., Adams County, Washington. 240 acres are to remain on the E½ of Section 13, T. 15 N., R. 31 E.W.M. for a total of 560 acres.

Protests to this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for the objections. Protests must be accompanied with a fifty dollar ($50.00) non-refundable recording fee.
