Ritzville — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported the following calls for service from Oct. 31 - Nov. 15 :
Oct. 31
Assist Othello police in the 600 block of East Lilac Street, Othello.
Medical call in the 100 block of North Neilson Road, Lind.
Welfare check in the 900 block of South Reynolds Road, Othello.
911 hang-up in the 400 block of East Fresnel Road, Ritzville.
Possible DUI the area of West Bench Road and South State Highway 17, Othello.
Assist resident in the 1600 block of West Lee Road, Othello.
Nov. 1
Complainant on W. Lee Rd. reported her father was accusing her of trespassing.
Report of a traffic collision at Radar Hill Rd. and W. Muse Rd.
Report of a suspicious vehicle and subject.
Complaint on W. Lee Rd. reported a sibling was going through a mental health crisis.
Complainant on W. Lee Rd. wanted to secure their property amd wanted an escort to Othello School District. Deputies aware of an earlier call.
Deputies advised of a violation of a court order broken, then advised he was mistaken and everything okay.
Deputies responded to the 600 block of S. Crestline Rd. for report of suspicious vehicles. Vehicle operators trying to locate an address.
Complainant at the 400 block of E. Fresnel Rd. reported suspicious activioty within their residence. Deputies learned complainant suffering from mental health issues. Deputies did not locate anyone at the residence.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of E. 6th St in Lind regarding consumption of alcohol. Deputies determined no crime occurred.
Report of loud music in the 800 block of S. Crestline. Deputies determined the music was within the county code.
Nov. 2
Reported alarm from motion sensor in the 2000 block of E. Schoesser Rd., Ritzville. Deputies searched and found no one on the property.
Female feeling unsafe in her home in the 1600 block of W. Lee Rd. She was advised to lock the area and not let anyone in.
Burglary in progress in the 2100 block of W. Cunningham Rd. Complainant advised of locating a male inside their residence. The male was determined to be intoxicated and provided with a courtesy ride home.
An individual reportedly having a manic episode in the 1600 block of W. Lee Rd. Deputies determined the individual was not a danger to him self or others.
Complainant concerned about a juvenile who was not returning home and parents could not be contacted in the 300 block of W. 2nd. Deputies contacted the parent who advised the juvenile had permission to be there.
Verbal argument over money in the 800 block of S. SR 24. No physical altercation reported.
Nov. 3
Reported suspicious activity in he 500 block of E. Cunningham Rd.. Deputies did not observe any open doors or signs of forced entry. Deputies learned homeowner left light on during night time hours.
Deputies responded to a welfare check in the 800 block of S. Highland Rd. Anonymous complainant advised concern about a friend’s well-being and their spouse being abusive. Complainant later contacted deputies and advised their friend was okay.
Deputies responded to the 2100 block of W. Margaret Ln. for a vehicle hitting a gas line which was leaking. The fire department shut off the line and Cascade Gas was called in to investigate the damage.
Sheriff’s Office advised of a runaway from Grant County. Black hoodie, blue jeans or black sweat pants.
Complainant making threats of self harm in the 100 block of E. 6th St. in Lind. Complainant agreed to see a mental health professional.
Nov. 4
Deputies responded to the 100 block of S. Lutcher Ave. in Lind for a complainant reporting being threatened while gathering personal property. Deputies did not believe a crime occurred and stood by while complainant gathered belongings and cleared the property.
Dispatch to the 2200 block of W. SR 26 where a complainant advised of a sibling not wanting to pay bills or help around the house. Complainant wanted to know if they could kick the sibling out. Complainant advised to go through the courts.
Deputies assisted Wapato Police Dept. in contacting a subject for property to be returned. Dispatch forwarded the subjects information to Wapato Police Dept.
Complainant at the Othello substation regarding ongoing issues with a subject continually messaging them on social media.
Collision in the area of W. SR 26 and Drury Ln., and assisted Washington State Patrol.
Domestic call in the 800 block of S. SR 24. Deputies determined no physical altercation occurred.
Collision in the area of S. Highway 24 and W. Bench Rd., assisted until Washington State Patrol arrived.
Nov. 5
Single vehicle collision in the area of W. SR 16 MP 39. Deputies stood by while Washington State Patrol arrived. Driver was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence.
Animal problem in the 2300 block of W., Dylan Ln. Complainant’s dog was found injured.
Complainant requested deputy assistance in returning vehicle keys.
Traffic collision at W. Bench Rd. and Grace Ln. Drivers provided with an exchange of information form.
Nov. 6
Hit and run collision at S. Andes Rd. and W. April St. Vehicle one fled scene prior to deputy arrival. Deputies documented minor damage to complainant vehicle.
Nov. 7
Mother complained teenage daughter in the 300 block of W. 2nd St. in Lind did not come home after school as expected to do.
Complainant living in the 800 block of S. Blue Bird Lane reported husband staying out late and not returning phone calls.
Reported violation of protection order in the 100 block of W. 3rd St. in Lind.
Call to complete junk vehicle affidavits in the 100 Block of W. Lind-Warden Rd, in Lind.
Possible attempt to steal livestock in the vicinity of the Othello substation. Deputies will conduct additional patrols.
Request for additional patrols in the 2500 block of W. SR 26. Complainant concerned former employee intends to steal items.
Traffic collision at S. Highway 17 and W. Martinez Ln. Washington State Patrol already on scene.
Request for contact the day before in the 400 block of E. Yeisley Rd. regarding a fire.
Nov. 8
Suspicious hang up call response to 400 block of N. Fox Rd.. It was determined 911 called by accident.
Disorderly call at 2100 block of W. Cunningham Rd. Complaint about female subject banging on windows to an RV trailer. Deputies unable to locate the subject.
Noisy neighbor complaint in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Lind. Neighbor advised about violating county code.
Scam emails reported at 1800 block of W. Rankin Rd.
Animals with insufficient water reported in the 1100 block of Newland Rd. Deputies reported the animals had access to water and food.
Traffic collision on W. 190 MP 230. Deputies assisted WSP.
Report of fraudulent activity in Amazon account in the 1100 block of N. Moody Rd. Deputies advised the victim to delete their Amazon account.
Nov. 9
Abandoned vehicle observed in the 700 block of S. McKinney Rd. Personal items and electronic items observed inside. Vehicle towed for safekeeping.
Report of “torching” and an assault in the 2100 block of W. Cunningham.
Welfare check in the 2500 block of W. Yeisley Rd. Subject possible suicidal. Subject given a courtesy ride and provided a hotel room.
Commercial burglary alarm in the 2100 block of W. Bench Rd. Complaint later reported alarm as false.
Unknown subjects damaged vehicle near Othello substation. Deputies determined damage due to road debris.
Large herd of cattle being moved on W. McManamon Rd. requested traffic control assistance.
Vehicle recovered in area of S. Lind-Hatton Rd. after being reported stolen.
Two-vehicle collision with injuries at Cunningham Rd. and Booker Rd. Drivers were medically transported.
Nov. 10
Large fire reported at Lind-Hatton Rd. near W. Cunningham Rd and the railroad tracks. There was a small controlled burn inside a ditch.
Cold burglary at 2700 block of W. McManamon Rd. Deputies learned no one had lived at the property in over five years.
Standby peace in the 1100 block of N. Newland Rd. Deputies requested a deputy to stand by while personal items were picked up.
Nov. 11
Suspicious vehicle reported in the 600 block of S. Andes Rd.
Traffic hazard call due to tire in the roadway at S. SR 24 and W. Hampton Rd.
Motorcycle left on the side of the road on W. SR 26 near W. Moon Rd. Motorcycle towed for safekeeping.
Trespassing in the 2300 block of W. Dylan. Neighbor was looking for their dog.
Stolen wallet report from years past from 2200 block of W. SR 26. Subject advised father’s credit cards and social security being used by someone else.
Reported missing person at 2300 block of W. Sherman Ln. No evidence the subject was missing.
Suspicious 911 call at 100 block of E. 6th St. in Lind, Complainant advised they were okay but felt lonely and had been drinking alcohol.
Nov. 12
Welfare check in the 100 block of E. 6th St. in Lind. Subject appeared to be heavily intoxicated by alcohol and complained of stomach pain. Emergency medical services contacted.
Disable vehicle observed near S. Sunset Acres Rd. and W. Highway 26. No registration available. Subject in vehicle reported it recently purchased, and advised to remove the vehicle in a few hours.
Possible overdose on prescription medication in the 2300 block of N. Bob Lee Rd. in Ritzville, in an attempt to commit suicide. Person transmitted to East Adams Rural Healthcare.
Reported court order violation in the 1100 block of N. Newland Rd., Ritzville. Apparently no violation occurred.
Abandoned vehicle in the 200 block of S. Cedar St. in Washtucna. The registered owner was willing to give the complainant the title to the vehicle.
Fraud complaint in the 2800 block of W. SR 26. Complainant was already in contact with the state and credit company to resolve the issue.
Fraud complaint in the 1800 block of W. Muse Rd. regarding receipt of fraudulent drivers licenses in the mail. Department of Licensing informed.
Unwanted subjects inside a building in the 300 block of W. 3rd St. in Lind.
Response to 700 block of S. Reynolds Rd. to assist Othello Police with a traffic stop. Subject taken into custody.
Nov. 13
Trespass in the 800 block of N. Deal Rd. as vehicle stopped with subjects asking about car parts for sale.
Semi trailer improperly parked in the 600 block of S. Taylor Rd.
Traffic accident with tow at SR 24 and Hart Rd. involving a sedan and semi truck. Deputies assisted Washington State Patrol.
Nov. 14
Cattle coming onto complainant’s pasture in the 2200 block of W. Rainier Rd. Deputies checked and were unable to locate the cattle reported.
Reported verbal domestic in the 800 block of S. SR 24, Deputies learned noting physical occurred,
Reported driver asleep at the wheel at S. Booker Rd. and W. Cunningham Rd. Deputies found driver was tired with no signs of impairment.
Suspicious vehicle left at 2000 block of Paha-Packard Rd. in Ritzville. Vehicle left at the address by a friend of the complainant.
Trespass at 800 block of S. Grace Ln. Deputies contacted the subjects and advised them they were trespassed.
False alarm in the 2200 block of W. Cunningham Rd.
Subject driving with suspended license in Othello city limits. Complainant advised their juvenile had left home without their permission.
Speeding vehicles reported in the 600 block of W. Rainier Rd. Complainant wanted to put spike strips on the road, and advised not to do so.
Nov. 15
Unoccupied vehicle blocking the road at S. SR 17 and W. Lee Rd. Vehicle determined related to an Othello Police Dept. incident.
Adams County assisted Franklin County in making an arrest in the 28000 block of Fry Rd.
Lost items reported at 800 block of W. Highway 26. Complainant reported loss occurred while out of the country.
Nov. 16
Juvenile reported walking in the roadway at W. Highway 26 and Reynolds Rd. The child advised they had missed the bus and were walking home.
Items left on property at the 600 block of S. Kristina Rd. determined to be related to a recent eviction.
False alarm reported at the 2000 block of W. Bench Rd.
Runaway juvenile reported at the 300 block of S. Salem Ave, in Washtucna, Deputies later located the juvenile at her boyfriend’s residence,
Suspected marijuana received from a relative in the 2000 block of W. Bench Rd. The location did not allow any form of drugs.
