CHENEY - Two Lind-Ritzville/Sprague girls volleyball team members were selected to the Northeast 2B-South All-League team during a ceremony Thursday, Nov. 7, at the district tournament in Cheney High School.
Bronco juniors Saige Galbreath and Zoe Galbreath were among the 10 players selected.
"Congrats to Saige and Zoe Galbreath for both being selected on the South NE2B all league team," Athletic Director Dustan Arlt said in announcing the awards. "They were recognized in Cheney last night before the District Championship game.
Others selected for all-league honors include:
Asotin - Senior Kelsey Thummel
Colfax - Seniors Ava Swan and Brenna Gilchrist.
Liberty (Spangle) - Seniors Kendall Denny and Zoe Omlin.
Freeman - Senior Brooke Berglund and juniors Greta Van Gemert and Avery Boswell.
Freeman senior Aspyn Reed was named the league's Most Valuable Player and Liberty Coach Marie Denny was named Coach of the Year.
