Runners wrap up regular season

REARDAN - Lind-Ritzville/Sprague runners wrapped up their regular season Friday, Oct. 18, at the Northeast 2B League Championships at Reardan High School.

The Broncos were paced by freshman Reagan Korthuis, who finished 32nd in the girls 5,000-meter race in a time of 25:33.10.

The long girl running for the Broncos, she had the highest place of any Lind-Ritzville competitor.

The Broncos boys best finish was 44th, with senior Cameron Christianson completing the 5,000 -meter course in 21:10.50.

Others in the boys varsity race were freshmen Cade Galbreath, 52nd in 22:00.60; and Wyatt Walker, 62nd, 24:06.20.

The Broncos did not have enough athletes for a team score.

Middle schoolers also wrapped up their season, with eighth-grader Graham Christianson finishing 52nd in the boys 1.5-mile with a time of 12:39.70. Right behind him was seventh-grader Zachary Heater, 53rd, in 12:42.30.

Seventh-grader Andrew "Ty" Thornton finished 55th with a time of 13:22.60.
