Bronco volleyball team sweeps Reardan

RITZVILLE — The Bronco girls opened the season sweeping league rival Reardan during a Northeast 2B matchup Saturday, Sept. 7.

The Broncos won 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.

Zoe Galbreath and Saige Galbreath led the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague team with eight kills each.

Zoe Galbreath also posted 12 assists, 3 aces and a block.

Saige Galbreath also had a block, as did Hannah Towne and Claire Wellsandt.

Meanwhile, Madisyn Cameron had 10 digs and Allesandra Mendez added 3 aces.

The 2023 state 2B runners-up are back on the court this week.

They were scheduled to host Columbia (Burbank) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, then travel to Davenport for a 6:30 p.m. game Thursday, Sept. 12.
