Ralston Grange seeks fair help

RITZVILLE — Ralston Grange is seeking volunteers to help provide food and assist with Bingo at the upcoming Wheat Land Communities Fair.

“The Grange is in need of volunteers to help with the concessions and Bingo as there is a shortage of available workers,” Grange spokesman Randy Roth said. “Volunteers do not need to be Grange members.”

According to Roth, the Grange will host a potato bar at their building on the fairgrounds from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Then from Friday through Sunday, Aug. 30 through Sept. 1, the organization will be selling kraut ranza, German sausage, soft pretzels, Wilma’s popcorn balls, elephant ears and cotton candy, along with beverages, he said.

In addition to the food sales, the Grange will offer Bingo from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, and again from 1-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31.

Those interested in volunteering or who would like more information may contact Roth by texting 509-660-0486 or emailing him at [email protected].
