Sheriff’s Log

Ritzville – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls for service from July 7-13:

July 7

12:17 a.m. - Subject reported for violating the burn ban at the 400 block of West Third St.

5:02 a.m. - Deer vs. Vehicle traffic accident on Mcmanamon Road.

6:45 a.m. – Report of a found small safe that had seemed to be tampered with in the area of East Rosenoff Road and North Dewald Road.

8:11 a.m. – Deputies located loose cattle on the 2100 block of West Mcmanmon Road.

10:59 a.m. – Suspicious 911 call in the area of West Kenfield Lane.

11:04 a.m. – Report of found property and the owner was advised that he could collect his property at a later time, at a lake near their jurisdiction.

2:21 p.m. - Stranded motorcyclist, deputies stayed till the driver was able to fix their vehicle in the area of West Mcmanamon Road.

2:46 p.m. – Citizen assist on the 700 block of South Sunset Acres.

5:15 p.m. – Report of a lost juvenile who was later found on the 200 block of West Bench Road.

6:23 p.m. - Subject was locked outside of their vehicle with their two dogs trapped inside, when deputies were en route they were advised that the subject was able to open their vehicle and no longer needed assistance on the block of West Highway 26.

8:09 p.m. – Agency assist regarding a domestic violence and tasker was deployed on the 1200 block of East Spruce St.

8:42 p.m. - Report of motorcycles riding up and down a hill, location unknown.

July 8

9:51 a.m. - Report of a citizen dispute regarding the speed the neighbor was doing on the driveway on the 900 block of South Schaake Road.

1:45 p.m. – Junk vehicle request on the 600 block of South Taylor Road.

2:27 p.m. – Report of a hit and run in a construction zone. Location unknown.

4:16 p.m.- Report of dogs outside in a kennel on the 2100 block of West Cunningham Road.

4:46 p.m.- Unwanted individual at the 2000 block of West bench Road.

7:31 p.m. – Medic al issue on the 2200 block of West Highway 26.

10:29 p.m. – Agency assist regarding an investigation on the 2000 block of West bench Road.

July 9

11:12 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle at the 800 block of South Garza Road.

8:52 p.m. – Citizen assist on the 2200 block of West Rainier Road.

9:45 p.m.- Cattle near the roadway, deputies investigated and saw they were located on private property on South Steele Road and West Cunningham Road.

10:05 p.m. – Traffic stop because of deflective lighting equipment and the driver had not had a valid driving license but the passenger did, a warning was given on the 800 block of South Highland Road.

11:13 p.m. – Report of a bicycle driving through private property, but when deputy’s arrived at the location no cyclist was found on the 2100 block of West June St.

July 10

2:47 a.m. – Agency assist regarding a the whereabouts of a vehicle on the 500 block of South Country Lane.

4:56 p.m. – Traffic hazard being a “slick substance” on the roadway off the ramp in the area of West Highway 26 and South Highway 17.

5:19 p.m. – Recovered vehicle on the 600 block of Saddle Road.

7:13 p.m. – Civil matter on the 600 block of South Thacker Road.

8:02 a.m. – suspicious vehicle in the area of North Deal Road and West Leisle Road.

9:21 p.m. – Animal problem on the 800 block of South Nuevo Leon Lane.

9:54 p.m. – Citizen assist regarding assistance with fuel on the 1500 block of West First Avenue.

11:35 p.m. – Agency assist on the 2100 block of West Cunningham Road.

July 11

12:06 p.m. – Civil matter regarding evicting tenants on the 600 block of South Chalino Lane.

1:15 p.m. – Fire near structures, and was later cleared on the 2300 block of West Hampton Road.

3:21 p.m. – Vehicle fire on the U.S Highway 395.

9:07 p.m. – Additional patrol needed in the area of West Providence Road, between Highway 17 and Booker Road.

9:32 p.m. – Citizen dispute on the 2000 block of West Bench Road.

July 12

4:14 p.m. – Agency assist for traffic control at Sagehill Road and Eagle Road.

8:45 p.m. – Standby peace at the 300 block of South West Third St.

July 13

10:58 a.m. – Traffic hazard at Sagehill Road and Eagle Road.

12:06 p.m. – Abandoned vehicle on the 10 block of Smay Road.

1:26 p.m. – Abandoned vehicle on South Barton Road and West Phillips Road.

1:32 p.m. – Animal problem on the 2100 block of West April St.

5:05 p.m. – Noise complaint on the 600 block of South Chalino Lane.

5:38 p.m. – Citizen assist on the 700 block of South Sara Lane.

9:08 p.m.- Fireworks reported on the 800 block of South Reynolds Road.

Ritzville – The Adams County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office reported the following individuals in custody from July 16-18:

July 16

Noel Deleon, 40, was arrested for assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence) held in the Franklin County jail.

Juan Agustin-Rodriguez, 19, was arrested for assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence) held in the Benton County jail.

July 18

Scot Sean Galvan,37, was arrested for felony harassment threatening to kill and is held in the Benton County jail
