ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

FOR THE CITY GOLF COURSE MANAGER CONTRACT

Submittal of an electronic copy of the proposals will be received by the City of Ritzville, Washington, emailed to Julie Flyckt at [email protected] with the subject being: ‘CITY OF Ritzville GOLF COURSE MANAGER’ until 2:00 PM on July 15, 2024.

The City Golf Course Manager is an independent contractor for the City of Ritzville. The contractor is required to provide their own health and liability insurance along with a performance bond as per the Golf Course Manager Contract.

The Golf Course Manager’s general duties consist of performing skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and operation of the golf course, including but not limited to, herbicides, irrigation, flags, fertilizer, mower blade repairs, equipment repair, promotion and advertising of golf course activities. Performs basic cash handling and accounting activities to collect all city fees throughout the entire year in a diligent manner for and on behalf of the city.

Provide a statement of experience and qualifications as per the proposal documents.

The City of Ritzville in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 200d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
