6TH AVENUE SIDEWALK PROJECT

CITY OF Ritzville, WASHINGTON

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Ritzville, Washington, at City Hall located at 216 E Main Avenue, Ritzville, WA 99169 until 1:00 PM on July 3, 2024 and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud.

The improvements for which bids will be received are generally described below:

• Demolition and reconstruction of sidewalk along both sides of 6th Avenue extending from Division Street to Chelan Street.

• Additional elements include driveway replacement, curb line repair, provision of ADA curb ramps, replacement of signs, replacement of pavement markings and moderate landscaping.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website for $22.00 by inputting QuestCDN Number 9156267 on the website’s bid posting search page after login. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. must register for a free Regular membership to be considered a plan holder and receive automatic addenda and bid updates. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ritzville.

Contract documents are on file for inspection at the Ritzville City Hall.
