Sheriff’s Log

Ritzville – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls for service from June 5-8:

June 5

3:22 p.m. – Traffic hazard on the South Highway 17 and West Lee Road.

6:24 p.m. – Report of two suspicious subjects, when deputies contacted the subjects they advised the deputies that their car broke down and are waiting for a tow truck in the area of North Cow Lake Road and East Wellsandt Road.

7:22 p.m. – Report of a female who were possible of being abused by their husband, deputies were unable to contact the female on the 600 block of North Fox Road.

8:55 p.m. – Suspicious call in the area of South Booker and West Herman Road.

10:45 p.m. – Report of individuals threatening to shoot up their residence on the 600 block of South Kristina Road.

June 6

12:06 a.m. - An individual advised deputies of a juvenile with mental health issues and was refusing taking medical attention on the 2900 block of West Mcmanamon Road.

9:29 a.m. – Civil matter regarding child support on the 800 block of South Taylor Road.

3:28 p.m. – Fire in the area of From St.

6:24 p.m. – Traffic collision on Highway 295.

6:35 p.m. – Report of a suspicious individual in the 2100 block of West Bench Road.

7:14 p.m. – Agency assist of a disabled vehicle in the area of West Highway 26 and Thacker Road.

June 7

9:14 a.m. – Agency assist on the 1500 block of West First Avenue.

9:26 a.m. – Report of a suspicious call but no activity was found on the 700 block of South Sara Lane.

10:09 a.m. – Reports of shots being fired in the area but were unable to locate any gunshots on the 2200 block of West Cunningham Road.

12:34 a.m. – False alarm on the 1900 block of West Foley Road.

3:56 p.m. – Report of chickens being harassed and one chicken was killed on the 600 block of South Allen Road.

5:48 p.m. – Civil assist on the 700 block of South Thacker Road.

9:50 p.m. – Welfare check regarding mental heath assistance on the 2900 block of West Mcmanamon Road.

11:51 p.m. – Report of suspicious vehicle driving on the 2200 block of West Rainier Road.

June 8

1:34 a.m. - – Report of loud music, deputies contacted the subjects and asked them to turn down the music which they did on the 2000 block of West Bench Road.

3:58 a.m. – False alarm on the 1400 block of West Cunningham Road.

7:15 a.m. – Report of suspicious calls on the 800 block of South Highway 26.

9:09 p.m. – Citizen dispute on the 2300 block of East Second St.

11:03 p.m. – Report of runaway juvenile but later cleared from NCIC.

11:50 p.m. – Report of loud music but when deputies arrived no loud music was observed on the 2200 block of West Highway 26.
