NOTICE OF APPLICATION

& SEPA THRESHOLD DETERMINATION

Pursuant to RCW 43.21C.080, notice is hereby given that Adams County did on June 12, 2024,

made a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS), for the following application.

Project: Freeman Farm Unit 37 Major Plat No. 2

Description of Proposal: Adams County Building and Planning received an application and

SEPA checklist for the above referenced major plat.

The Freeman Farm Unit 37 Major Plat No 2 consists of 10.12 acres of land subdivided into 6

lots. Each lot is proposed to be between 1.25 acres and 2.53 acres. The proposed use of these lots

is to be for single family residential housing. The potable water for the proposed lots is to be a

group B public water system. The remaining lot will continue to be farmed and supplied by

irrigation water from the east Columbia Basin Irrigation District.

Site Location:

The location of the proposed development is Adams County Parcel no. 1529032152638 west of

Othello and South of Highway 26 in the northwest half of township 15 range 29 section 8.

Lead Agency: Adams County Planning Department

Adams County has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse

impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under

RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after the review of a completed environmental

checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the

public upon request.

Threshold Determination:

{X} This DNS is issued pursuant to WAC 197-11-340(2), Adams County will not act on this

proposal for 14 days from June 12, 2024. A public hearing will be held on July 25, 2024.

Timely comments on this threshold determination must be received no later than 4:00 PM, July

11, 2024, for this DNS
