1st AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS
(DIVISION ST TO PALOUSE ST)
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Ritzville, Washington, at City Hall located at 216 E Main Avenue, Ritzville, WA 99169 until 11:00 AM on June 26, 2024 and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud.
The improvements for which bids will be received are generally described below:
This Contract provides for the improvement of *** East 1st Avenue from Division Street to Palouse Street and Palouse Street from East 1st Avenue to a mid-block project endpoint. The focus of the project is pavement maintenance and ADA curb ramp replacement. The project is approximately 2.5 blocks in length and includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing curb, curb ramps, and sidewalk, grinding and pavement removal, paving, new concrete curb, curb ramps, and sidewalk, striping, and traffic control. To accommodate truck traffic to wheat storage along the project corridor, paving activities (with the exception of patching for curbs and utility adjustments) are not allowed between July 12, 2024 and September 3, 2024. *** and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website for $22.00 by inputting Quest CDN Number 9158380 on the website’s bid posting search page after login. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. must register for a free Regular membership to be considered a plan holder and receive automatic addenda and bid updates. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ritzville.
