RITZVILLE – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls for service from May 19-25:
May 19
9:08 a.m. – Standby peace on the 600 block of East Third St.
12:18 pm. - Traffic accident, the driver who was hit by the at fault driver seeked hospital assistance on his on Bench Road and McKinney Road.
12:24 p.m. – Report of suspicious activity in the block of 300 East Eighth St.
12:31 p.m. – Report of a vehicle parked partially on the roadway; officers were unable to contact the owner via cellphone on South Reynolds Road and West Highway 26.
5:37 p.m. – Citizen dispute on the 2200 block of West Cunningham Road.
7:17 p.m. – Report of a child wondering the roadway alone, officers contacted the child and called the parents on South Johnson Road and West Muse Road.
8:24 p.m. – Report of hearing gun shots in the area but no other callers reported and no found crime on the 2200 block of West Rainer Road.
9:12 p.m. – Agency assist in the area on South Highway 17 and West Highway 26.
May 20
7:28 a.m. – False alarm activated on the 1400 block of North Vanvleet Road.
11:34 a.m. – Report of a suspicious vehicle but upon investigation and contacting the owner of the vehicle, the owner was conduction inspections on CRP land on the 1000 block of East Lind-Ralston Road.
11:38 a.m. – Report of fraud at an unknown location.
2:36 p.m. - Report of theft on the 1400 block of West Cunningham Road.
3:48 p.m. – Report of an abandoned vehicle on the 100 block of South Lutcher Avenue.
5:52 p.m. – Report of a lost dog on the 1800 block of West Sutton Road.
6:35 p.m. – Citizen assist in Moses Lake.
May 21
12:24 a.m. – Call of a child who locked themselves out of their house and needed help getting back inside on the 2100 block of West April St.
9:51 a.m. – Standby peace on the 100 block of South Lutcher Avenue.
May 22
9:22 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle on the 700 block of South Hillcrest Road.
11:18 a.m. – Report of a loud explosion and the power going out on the 600 block of South Andes Road.
1:44 p.m. – Report of an ongoing issue with a dog next door on the 800 block of South Steele Road.
5:35 p.m. – Company reported having a juvenile hacking into their company E-Mail on the 700 block of East Booth Avenue.
May 23
9:30 a.m. – Agency assist on Sough Highway 17 and West Highway 26.
9:50 a.m. – Agency assist regarding child protective services at an unknown location.
11:34 a.m. – False alarm activated on the 2100 block of West Cunningham Road.
8:01 p.m. – Brush fire on the 800 block of South Highway 17.
8:44 p.m. – Report of a dog bite in the morning on the 2100 block of West Highway 26.
May 24
7:39 a.m. – Report of a suspicious vehicle on the 2200 block of West Rainer Road
6:09 p.m. – Report of littering in the area of West Highway 26 and West Mood Road.
11:39 p.m. – Report of a traffic collision but when deputies arrived no collision was found, there was a disabled vehicle found nearby but was in no need of assistance in the Area of Highway 26.
May 25
10:51 a.m. – Report of an individual getting suspicious phone calls claiming they had a warrant for their arrest, upon investigation the claims were false, no location given.
11:20 a.m. – Citizen assist on the West Kenfield Lane and Taylor Road.
1:54 p.m. – Outstanding warrant for Eleazar Gonzalez, 44, on the 2100 block of West Bench Road.
2:16 p.m. – False alarm on the 2200 block of West Cunningham Road.
2:44 p.m. – Report of two unattended vehicles parked on the roadway, when the owners of the vehicles arrived they were advised they cannot park on the roadway on South Kummer Road West Hatton Road.
3:24 p.m. – Report of gun shots but no evidence was found in the area of South Thacker Road and West Rainier Road.
4:16 p.m. – Fire was requested to assist in traffic control on South Highway 17 and West Highway 26.
4:57 p.m. – False alarm on the 400 block of East Yeisley Road.
8:59 p.m. – Report of a juvenile problem between them and their parents on the 1900 block of West Providence Road.
11:51 p.m. – False alarm on the 300 block of South Steele Road.
