ADAMS COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION – OPEN SEAT
The Adams County Planning
Commission is made up of a
seven-member citizen advisory
board that makes recommendations
to the Board of County
Commissioners. The Planning
Commission advocates for the
land and the County’s overall
health, safety, and welfare in
all land use applications. The
Commissioners work to ensure
land uses are developed in appropriate
areas of the county.
By becoming a member of the
Planning Commission you are
given the opportunity to help
shape the trajectory of Adams
County by participating in the
decision-making process and
gaining a deeper understanding
of the communities within
the County.
The Planning Commission currently
has one (1) open seat
available. To be eligible, applicants
must be age 18 or older
and live in Adams County. If
interested in serving, please
prepare a Letter of Interest, and

The Planning Commission
meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday
of each month at 10AM. To
