Ritzville Alumni Banquet looms

RITZVILLE — The annual Alumni Banquet for graduates of Lind-Ritzville and Ritzville high schools is coming up.

Set for 6 p.m., May 25, in Gilson Gymnasium of Lind-Ritzville High School, there is a cost to attend.

“Please get your orders in as soon as possible,” Alumni Membership Secretary Marilyn Sielaff said. “I need to let the caterer know a count a few days before the banquet.”

According to Sielaff, all tickets must be purchased by mail; on-site sales are not planned.

Any graduate who has not received an invitation may contact Sielaff by calling 509- 347-6188 or by email at [email protected], as well as visit the association’s website at http://www.ritzvillealumni.com or the alumni social media page to print out a registration form.

Those who have already purchased tickets should have received them in the mail, she said.

This year’s banquet will honor several classes.

“We are honoring the 25-year class of 1999, the 50-year class of 1974, the 75-year class of 1949 and the 100-year class of 1924,” Sielaff said, noting the upcoming graduating Classes of 2024 will also be welcomed into the alumni ranks.

Sielaff said any classes that are having gatherings should contact her to ensure the activities are put on the alumni webpage.

Alumni are also requested to notify Sielaff of name, address and e-mail address changes.
