NOTICE OF STREET

VACATION DECISION

Notice was given and a public

hearing was held in front of the

City Council on Tuesday, April

16, 2024, as required by Ritzville

Municipal Code (RMC) vacation

chapter 11.235, for vacation of

15 feet of Palouse Street. The

City Council granted the street

vacation to John and Kellie Kragt

at 1008 S Palouse Street, parcel

no. 1935230615109, for 15 feet

of Palouse Street in Block 51,

Adams County Land Company

Addition to the City of Ritzville.

This decision will become final

twenty-one (21) days after publication

of this notice on May 14,

2024, unless an appeal is filed

with the Adams County Superior

Court before the final date

as per RMC Chapter 11.255.

The affected property owners

may request a change in valuation

for property tax purposes

notwithstanding any program of

revaluation.
