Schilling wins 400-meter at Moscow Invite

Freshman Brett Cresse was unable to clear the bar at the Moscow Invitational on Friday, resulting in a "no height" for the Broncos.
Brody Boness finished 10th in shot put in the Moscow, Idaho, Invitational with a toss of 40 feet, 3 inches last Friday.
MOSCOW, Idaho - The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague boys finished mid-pack as a team at the Moscow Invitational on Friday, April 12.
With 26.5 points, the Bronco boys finished the highest of any Washington state team. The Broncos were 10th out of 19 teams; Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, won with 156 points.
Meanwhile the Lind-Ritzville girls finished 17th with 11 points; Moscow won the girls division with 152 points.
The Bronco boys were strongest in the 400-meter, where sophomore Damon Schilling set a person record 48.90 seconds en route to first place.
Teammate senior Bridger Moore was fifth in 52.70.
The Bronco boys 4X200 relay team also broke into the Top 5, taking fourth in 1:37.51. The team comprised Schilling, seniors Shawn Steinberger and Brock King, and junior Carson Kubik.
Junior John Stromberger also finished fourth in javelin with a flight of 127-07.
Sophomore Zoe Galbreath was the highest Bronco to place in the girls division; she took fourth in pole vault, clearing 8-foot-6.
The Bronco girls 4X400 relay team also broke into the Top 5, finishing fifth in 4:38.88. The team comprised freshman Allie Mendez, sophomores Saige Galbreath and Zoe Galbreath, and junior Claire Wellsandt.
