Speeding a problem in Ralston

RALSTON — Complaints about speeding along state Highway 261 have local officials and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office taking action to slow down motorists.

“The Sheriff’s Office has been receiving numerous complaints regarding speeding trucks and vehicles passing through Ralston,” Sheriff Dale Wagner wrote on social media. “In response to these concerns, we have taken action to address this issue and ensure the safety of our community.”

To help curtail the speeding problem, the Sheriff’s Office has placed a speed sensor trailer in Ralston to tell motorists how fast they are going.
