Floriculture team takes fourth

CASTLE ROCK - The Lind-Ritzville High School FFA floriculture team took fourth-place March 23 in a career development event at Castle Rock High School.

Lind-Ritzville was the smallest school to field at team at the event.

In addition to the team taking fourth, student Claire Wellsandt took eighth-place as an individual.

Richland High School's team won the event, followed by East Valley (Moxee) and Castle Rock in third.

East Valley's Ruby Zepeda won the individual title, followed by Richland's Jordan Jelinek and Abigail Bobbett, respectively.
