Broncos tennis split with Reardan

RITZVILLE — The Broncos tennis team split with Reardan on March 26, winning six matches but losing five.

In girls singles, Broncos Danica Cox topped Braden Durbin, 5-7, 6-4 and 10-8; and Tahli Rundquist topped Kate Guhlke, 6-4, 7-5.

Meanwhile, Broncos Destiny Phelps fell to Hailey Fry, 1-6, 3-6, and Meghan Rivers lost to Kersten Lundgren, 1-6, 2-6.

The Broncos doubles girls team of Liberty McClanathan and Savannah Carruth dominated Elsa Wescer and Elyanna Crego, 6-2, 6-3. But Broncos Faye Niccols and Emmah Kerbs lost to Elsa Wescoe and Kate Guhlke, 3-6,1-6.

The Bronco boys swept the singles competitions.

Broncos Jeffrey Christianson topped E.J. Preuschoff in 3 sets, 5-3, 5-7, 10-7. Drake Gloyn won 6-3, 6-0 over Dominic Board and Noah Dockery edged Genesis Garcia, 6-4.

In doubles, Cameron Christianson and Cameron Olson lost to E.J. Preuschoff and Dominic Board, 2-6.

And Isaiah Ginnard and Madie Brown fell to Braden Durbin and Marcus Durbiun, 2-6, 3-6.
