Molina, Fleming pace Eagles

COLLEGE PLACE — Junior Emery Molina and freshman Brody Fleming paced the St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse track team Saturday, March 23, at the Hawk Invite at College Place High School.

Molina placed second, fourth and fifth in individual events, and was a member of the 4X200 relay team that finished sixth. Sophomore Chloe Waddell added second-, fourth- and eighth-place finishes for the Eagle girls in individual competitions.

Fleming brought home a second and two thirds in individual competitions and was a member of the sixth-place 4X100 relay team.

The St. John-Endicott boys scored 32 team points to finish ninth out of 14 teams. In the girls division, the Eagles scored 42 team points for an eighth-place finish. LaGrande, Ore., teams won both the boys and girls titles with 162.5 and 222 points, respectively.

200-meter — Fleming, 3rd, 23.90; and sophomore Tyler Hough, 7th, 25.31.

1,600-meter — Sophomore Tucker Taylor, 21st, 6:41.25.

4X100 Relay — St. John-Endicott (Hough, Fleming, Harder and freshman Jake Hone), 6th, 49.54.

Shot Put — Hone, 23rd, 28-07; and Hunt, 32nd, 26-09.5.

Discuss — Hone, 13th, 90-04; and junior Avery Anderson, 14th, 87-00.

Javelin — Fleming, 3rd, 136-0; Hunt, 19th, 93-08; and sophomore Colton Clements, 21st, 90-03.

Long Jump — Fleming, 2nd, 20-02.5; Harder, 18th, 16-02.5; and Tollett, 23rd, 15-03.

Triple Jump — Hough, 6th, 36-11.

Girls

100-meter — Senior Dakota Fox, 16th, 15.65; and sophomore Kate Roberts, 26th, 16.72.

400-meter — Roberts, 14th, 1:24.95.

4X200 Relay — St. John-Endicott (Fox, senior Julia Guske, freshman Rowdie Broeckel and Molina), 6th, 2:04.81.

Shot Put — Waddell, 2nd, 33-03.75; Broeckel, 10th, 17-05.75; and sophomore Sophia Anderson, 28th, 20-06.5.

Discus — Waddell, 4th, 84-09.5; Anderson, 19th, 63-01.5; and sophomore Lily Barlass, 32nd, 41-08.5.

Javelin — Waddell, 8th, 85-06; Barlass, 22nd, 57-08; and Anderson, 24th, 48-03.
