Klothing Closet opens

KAHLOTUS — The community has a new organization in town to help indigent residents.

The Kahlotus Community Klothing Closet opened Feb. 10 in the Lion’s Club, 255 E. Wenston St.

The Lion’s Club donated the space in exchange for locating a donation bucket in the Klothing Closet to help raise funds for local scholarships.

Kahlotus Community Closet is accepting donations; a drop-off area has been established in nearby Connell at M&M Motel, 730 S. Columbia Ave.

The Klothing Closet hosted a community give-away event Saturday, Feb. 24.
