COLFAX - The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague boys basketball wrapped up its regular season play with a win and a loss last week.
On Monday, Jan. 29, the Broncos tamed the winless Upper Columbia Academy Lions, 54-49, on senior night in Gilson Gymnasium. Then on Tuesday, Jan. 30, they traveled to Colfax, where the undefeated Bulldogs dominated the Broncos, 71-48.
Against Upper Columbia (0-13), the Broncos matched the Lions basket for basket, with the first quarter ending tied at 14. In the second quarter, the Broncos held the court, outscoring the Lions, 17-9 to take a 31-23 lead into halftime.
