NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS
FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER
OF WATER RIGHT UNDER
ONE (1) GROUND WATER
CERTIFICATE
TAKE NOTICE:
That Michele Kiesz of Patty
Kagele Farms Inc. of Ritzville,
WA, has made application for
change/transfer of water right
in order to change a portion of
the place of use and add points
of withdrawal as granted under
Ground Water Certificate No.
G3-01227C.
That G3-01227C authorizes
the withdrawal of 1800 gallons
per minute, 1939-acre feet per
year, form April 1 to October 31,
each year, for the irrigation of
580 acres.
That the authorized point of
withdrawal is from two wells
located within the 1) W½NE¼
of Section 4 and 2) SE¼NW¼ of
Section 3, both within T. 18 N., R.
31 E.W.M., Adams County, WA.
That the authorized place of use
is located within Section 3, T. 18
N., R. 31 E.W.M., less roads and
railroad rights of way.
That they propose to change
the point of withdrawal to a well
located within the NW¼NE¼ of
Section 1, within T. 19 N. R. 29
E.W.M., Grant County, WA. The
two original wells will be retained
with the original place of use.
That they propose to change a
portion of the place of use to the
N½ and N½ of S½ of Section
1, and NE¼ and E½ of SE¼ of
Section 2, T. 19 N., R. 29 E.W.M.,
Grant County, WA. They propose
to retain a portion in the original
place of use.
All within Grant and Adams
County, Washington.
Protests or objections to approval
of this application must
include a detailed statement of
the basis for objections; protests
must be accompanied by a
fifty-($50.00) dollar recording fee
and filed with the Department of
Ecology, at the address shown
below, within thirty (30) days from
January 17, 2024
