Arizona trucker killed in crash

RITZVILLE – An Arizona woman was killed Dec. 5 when her tractor trailer overturned at the intersection of North Paha-Packard and North DeWald Roads.

Paula Christine Hopper, 57, of Mesa, Ariz., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office provided few details on the fatality, noting the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

“Next of kin has been notified,” the Sheriff’s Office reported.

The Washington State Patrol and Adams County Fire District No. 1 assisted at the scene.
