Winter on the way

RITZVILLE – Adams County could see its first frost and snow of the winter this week.

According to the National Weather Service, overnight lows were expected to drop below freezing Monday and Tuesday nights, Oct. 23 and 24.

The forecast called for a 20% chance of a rain-snow mix for today, Wednesday, Oct. 25. The Weather Service also said there’s a 20% chance of snow before 2p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26.

Overnight lows are expected to dip to 19 degrees by the weekend....
