DETERMINATION

Pursuant to RCW 43.21C.080,

notice is hereby given that Adams

County did on September

25, 2023, make a Determination

of Nonsignificance (DNS), for

the following application.

Description of proposal: Adams

County Building and Planning

a SEPA checklist for the above

refenced Water Tower Project.

The Port of Othello will be adding

an additional 200,000-gallon

elevated steel reservoir. The

reservoir will be connected

to the existing water supply

system in conjunction with the

200,000-gallon reservoir tower

already in place. Additionally

included in the project will be a

19,000 LF of 12-inch PVC water

mainline.

Site Location: The elevated

reservoir will be located on the

south half of lot 1, Bruce North

Short Plat, Volume 1 Of Short

Plats, pages 118-119 records

of Adams County (recoded SP

doc no. 278522), Washington

(Section 27, Township 16 North,

Range 30 East). The Port of

Othello owns the property where

the elevated reservoir will be

built near the intersection of W.

Foley Road and Booker Road.

Lead Agency: Adams County

Planning Department

Adams County has determined

that this proposal will not have

a probable significant adverse

impact on the environment. An

environmental impact statement

(EIS) is not required under RCW

43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision

was made after the review of

a completed environmental

checklist and other information

on file with the lead agency. This

information is available to the

public upon request.

Threshold Determination:

{X} This DNS is issued

under 197-11-340 (2); the lead

agency will not act on this proposal

for 14 days from October

11,2023.

Comments must be submitted

no later than October 24, 2023,

for this DNS.

Pursuant to WAC 197-11-

340(2), Adams County will not

act on this proposal for 14 days
