Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
RICHLAND – Lind-Ritzville/Sprague runners put their speed to the test Saturday, Oct. 7, competing against some of the largest cross country teams in Eastern Washington at the 54th annual Max Jensen/Richland Invitational.
The Broncos didn’t have enough runners to score as a team.
But in girls middle school competition, two local girls kept pace with some of the fastest runners from Desert Hills, Harrison and other large middle schools.
Reagan Korthuis was 11th in the 3,000-meter event with a time of 13:43.16 and Jacqueline Meyers was 13th in 13:46.17.
Four boys ran in the middle school event.
