Lind Oktoberfest slated for Sunday

LIND – The annual Good Hope Lutheran Church Oktoberfest celebration returns to town Sunday, Oct 29.

This year’s event at the Senior Center, 117 N. I St., features a German-style dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

German smoked sausage will be paired with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, corn, applesauce, bread and a dessert, officials said, noting there is a cost.

Good Hope congregation members will be setting up, serving and cleaning up.

Take-outs are available as is delivery for shut-ins who live in town....
