Lists released just in time for school to begin
WASHTUCNA – School District teachers have released a list of needed classroom supplies, just in time for the 2023-24 school year to begin.
Supply lists are:
Mrs. Sitton’s kindergarten and first-grade -- Pencils (no pens), eraser(s), colored pencils, crayons or markers (choose only one), white glue, scissors, writing paper, clean tennis shoes for the gymnasium and a water bottle. A pencil box is optional.
Mrs. Christianson’s second-/third-grade classes -- one pack of crayons or colored pencils (Crayola preferred), one pack of pencils (Ticonderoga preferred), two pens (blue or black ink), three dry erase markers, four-plus glue sticks, scissors, one pack of 4X6 index cards, three pocket folders, a pair of headphones, a pencil box/pouch, two packs of baby wipes (unscented preferred), a water bottle to stay at school and tennis shoes for the gym.
Mr. Anderson’s fourth-/fifth-grade classes – one box Crayola colored pencils, 24-count Crayola crayon box, three dry erase markers, two pink erasers, two boxes of tishues, one package of wide-ruled paper, four glue sticks, one set of headphones, two highlighters, a box of Crayola washable markers, a school supply/pencil box (plastic), two packs of 24 Ticonderoga pencils, three pocket folders (assorted colors), scissors and two wide-ruled, composition notebooks.
Junior/senior high school generic list – No. 2 pencils, blue and/or black pen, college-ruled notebook filler paper, a notebook, ruler, three-ring binder, dividers and zippered supply pouch.

Agricultural education – boots
Art – Colored pencils and a black Sharpie
English – Pencils, blue/black pens, red pens, multi-colored highlighters, 2.5-inch or 3-inch zippered binder, pencil pouch to go in binder, eight tabbed dividers and college-ruled loose-leaf paper.
Contemporary World Problems/Civics – One package of lined or unlined index cards.
U.S. History – Colored pencils
Washington State History (seventh-grade) – Colored pencils, Elmer’s glue, black Sharpie, scissors, a pencil sharpener and a spiral notebook (one subject, college-ruled paper (100 sheets, 11” x 8-1/2”) for journaling
Ancient history (sixth-grade) – Colored pencils, Elmer’s glue, black Sharpie, scissors, a pencil sharpener and a spiral notebook (one-subject, college-ruled paper (100 sheets, 11” x 8-1/2”) for journaling.
Physical education -- Athletic shoes for in the gym, shorts or sweatpants and a T-Shirt.
