National Night Out planned

Law officers to connect with area residents

OTHELLO - The Adams County Sheriff's Office are planning several events to meet and learn more about constituents as part of the National Night Out campaign.

Families and friends can come enjoy free food, games and an outdoor movie while they get to know their county's enforcement team at the events.

The Sheriff's Office will be on the Columbia Basin Health Association campus, 475 N. 14th Ave., Othello, from 5-9 p.m. Aug. 12.

After that, deputies will be in Washtucna at Bassett Park, on Clearwater Lane, from 5-9 p.m. Aug. 16.

On Aug. 22, law enforcement officers will be at Ritzville City Park, on South Division Street adjacent to the water park, from 5-9 p.m.

The last night will be Aug. 23, when deputies head to Lind's town park on East Second Avenue. That event, too, is from 5-9 p.m.

"Make plans to attend," Sheriff Dale Wagner said. "It's all free."
