Junior Livestock Sale looms

Ritzville – Aspiring farmers and ranchers will be showing and selling their animals during the annual Junior Livestock Sale on Saturday, Sept. 2.

The sale will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds north of the city, 811 E. Main Ave.

The event is open to the public.

Sale-goers will be able to purchase animals, purchase processing cut to specifications.

Simmons makes Dean’s list

DAVENPORT, Iowa – An Othello residents has been named to the Dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic for the 2023 spring semester.

Alexis Simmons of Othello made the list at the main campus of the college.

The college also has campuses in San Jose, Calif .; and Port Orange, Fla.

Memorial hospital to display art

ODESSA – Odessa Memorial Hospital will feature local artists in the coming weeks as part of its remodeling project.

Hospital CEO Brett Antczak said the hospital is accepting local photos from residents to decorate hospital halls.

These photos will be featured in an open house after construction is finalized, hospital officials said, noting the project is ongoing. To submit photographs, email [email protected]
