PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE
THE PLANNING HISTORIC
COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF RITZVILLE
The City of Ritzville has published
the following variance
application notice to provide the
opportunity for comment on the
described project.
Applicant: Maverik, Inc.
Location: Parcel No
1935231020002, Lot 2 Grainland
Acres Short Plat Project
Description: Permit for Mid-Rise
(175.87 sq ft) and Hi-Rise (721
sq ft) Pole signs that exceed
the 60 square feet copy area
as per Ritzville City Code Title
11 Chapter 11.120.010.
Application Date: June 1, 2023
Letter of Completeness: June
21, 2023 Review Authority:
Pursuant to the Ritzville Municipal
Code, Type II, quasi-judicial
review shall require an open
record public hearing before the
Planning Commission.
Public Hearing: July 12, 2023,
at 7:00pm before the Planning
Commission at City Hall, 216
E. Main Ave. At that time any
citizen may give oral or written
testimony with respect to the
variance application.
Written Comments: Agencies,
tribes, and the public are encouraged
to review and provide
written comments on the project.
Comments must be submitted to
the Clerk-Treasurer by 5:00pm
on July 12th. The file may be
examined between the hours
of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday
through Friday (except holidays)
at Ritzville City Hall, 216 E.
Main, Ritzville, Washington. For

Decision: The decision on the
application will be made within
120 days of the date of the letter
of completeness and 10 days
after publication of the final notice
of decision unless an appeal
is filed with the Adams County
Superior Court.
