Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
RITZVILLE – Dozens of alumni returned to their alma mater over the Memorial Day weekend for a reunion and recognition of classes.
This year's Ritzville and Lind-Ritzville Alumni Associations recognized the classes of 1923, 1948, 1973, and 1998.
Almuni for several other classes were also president for the May 27 banquet in Gilson Gymnasium.
The Class of 1973 had the largest turnout.
Alumni celebrating their 50-year class reunion included Gail Burghard Mahoney, Paulette Teske, Jane Krause, Virginia Bramen, Vera Stevens Markum, Angie Kiez Fode, Charles Gingling, Sandy Swift, Cathy Heinemann Tucker, Carol Waltner, Elizabeth Ritter Hardy, Jodine Brewer Grans, Valerie Ott Herron, Carolyn Baumann Donnelly, Debi Danekas, Shellie Kennedy Barrack, Galen Van Vleet, Bill Reimers, Mike McCaffrey, Don Kagele, Bruce Bernard, Ralph Patterson, Scott Hille, Tom Benzel and Bruce Heimbigner.
Several of those alumni attended school all 12 years in Ritzville, including Fode, Donnelly, Danekas, Grans, Mahoney, Herron, Kagele, Krause, Tucker, Van Vleet, Teski, Hille, McCaffrey, Reimers, Bernand, Benzel and Heimbigner.
The 75-year Class of 1947 was represented by Martin Gering.
Alumni also
welcomed the Class of 2023 to their ranks.
