Kahlotus Days set for Saturday, June 3

KAHLOTUS – Kahlotus Days is back in town this coming Saturday, June 3, with a series of events for youg and old alike.

There will be food, fun, sports and more for those daring to hit downtown.

The action begins at 7 a.m. with a 5K fun run.

While some runners are hitting the race course, the Lions Club will be serving breakfast from 7-9:30 a.m.

Meanwhile, softball games and the Kahlotus Car Show are set to being.

Softball takes to the diamond at 8 a.m .; classy chassis hit the street by 9 a.m.

Music will also begin at 9 a.m. as a prelude to the annual Kahlotus Parade.

Line up for the parade starts at 10:30 a.m., with the parade kicking off at 11 a.m.

The afternoon is geared more toward area youth, as the Kid Zone runs from noon to 43 p.m.

And jousting competition for those ages 5-17 begins at 4:45 p.m.

For the adults, the mechanical bull will start bucking at 4 p.m., with a competition taking place at 6 p.m. Bullriding will continue through 8 p.m.

At that time, the action will slow down with a planned downtown street dance planned for 8-10 p.m.
