Beverly Marie (Heinemann) Scherr, 76, formerly of Odessa, Wash. passed away March 8, 2023. She was born on Jan. 11, 1947 in Ritzville, Wash. to Wilmerd and Helen (Johnson) Heinemann and raised on the family farm near Ritzville with her two brothers Jay and Gary.

Beverly received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Elementary Education from Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. As a teacher, she excelled in teaching and guiding the children of Odessa. She was always looking for new and innovative ways to bring critical information and funding to student learning in their formative years.

Beverly married the love of her life, Ken Scherr on June 13, 1970. During their 50 plus years of marriage they lived in Odessa where they were happiest among family and friends in their church and community; Ken has preceded her in death.

Beverly is survived by her brother Gary Heinemann, children Larry and Lien Scherr, and grandchildren Brett and Brayden Scherr.

Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be held for both Ken and Beverly Scherr at a later date and time in Odessa.
