Memorial Day to be observed in county

RITZVILLE — The community will remember fallen war heroes with a weekend of activities around Adams County.

A Memorial Day observance is set for 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 29, at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery.

At noon, the Othello-area observance will take place at Adams Cemetery – also known as American Legion Cemetery, 954 state Highway 17. Volunteers will be putting out flags at the ceremony beginning at 6 a.m. Monday.
