Melcher races to gold in boys 100-meter
Senior Hayden Melcher finishes his leg of the 44X100 relay; the Broncos finished fourth in 46.73 seconds.
RITZVILLE – The Broncos boys and girls track teams finished among the Top 10 on Saturday, April 30, at their home Undeberg Invitational.
The local girls finished sixth overall out of the more than 20 teams competing. The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague boys finished tied for eighth with Garfield-Palouse.
For the girls, Okanogan won the meet with 136.5 team points, followed by Garfield-Palosue with 94 and Odessa with 65.
The Bronco girls scored 30.5 team points while nearby St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse finished eighth with 27.83.
In boys, Davenport won with 119.5 team points, followed by Liberty (Spangle)...
