Ordinance No. 283
An Ordinance of the Town of
Washtucna, Washington, updating
the current bulk water
rates sold to non-residents: Be
it ordained by the Council of the
Town of Washtucna, as follows:
SECTION 1: PURPOSE
The purpose of this ordinance
is to establish new rates for
bulk water with the Town of
Washtucna.
SECTION 2: Rates
Purchasers of bulk Town water
will be charged $50.00 for the
1st 1000 gallons purchased in
the month and $12.00 for each
additional 1000 gallons in that
month.
SECTION 3: Revision of rates
starting January 1, 2024, and
each year thereafter will increase
3% each year.
SECTION 4: REQUIREMENTS:
Bulk water users must
have an active account, key fob
agreement signed, and key fob
checked out.
SECTION 5: DESIGNATED
FUND: All fees collected under
the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be deposited to
the “Water-Sewer Fund which
includes Garbage” of the Town
of Washtucna.
SECTION 6: REPEALER: All
Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict with or inconsistent
with the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be repealed.
SECTION 7: SAVINGS
CLAUSE. If any section or
provision of this Ordinance shall
be adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such adjudication
shall not affect the validity
of the Ordinance as a whole or
any section, provision, or part
not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 8: ENACTMENT:
This Ordinance shall be in
force and take effect five days
after its publication according to

supersedes all prior bulk water
sales Ordinances.
