During his career he enjoyed working with the Camp Wooten program, 5th and 6th grade noontime basketball, and Odyssey of the Mind.
Rolland loved history, trivia, bowling, tennis, card games, and family time. No one was able to top Rolland when it came to Trivial Pursuit and often he was a one person team. In his later years, he enjoyed Perry Mason, Antiques Road Show, and anything history related.
Rolland was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, brother Alden, and sister Arlie. He is survived by his sister Carolyn, daughters Yvette Armstrong and Lori (Darren) Olson; grandchildren Spencer (Kendra) Olson, Jasmine Olson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
