Inaugural Piefest on tap

RITZVILLE — The reconstituted Ritzville Festivals Association is introducing a new event for the city.

The inaugural Piefest will take place at 6 p.m. Monday, March 13, organization officials said.

The event will take place in the American Legion Memorial Building, 106 W. Broadway Ave. It includes dinner, dessert and a pie auction.

There is an admission charge.

Residents interested in baking and donating a pie can do so on Monday, March 13 at Gigamedics, 213 W. Main Ave. Pies are due before 4 p.m.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Ritzville Festivals Association.
