STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS

FOR ENGINEERING

SERVICES REVISED

SUBMITTAL DATE

The City of Ritzville, pursuant

to RCW 39.80, is inviting statements

of qualifications from

consulting engineering firms to

provide engineering services

related to streets, sidewalks

and storm drainage systems.

Services may include engineering

planning, reports, project

designs, funding applications

and assistance, construction

administration and inspection,

environmental reviews, rate

studies and other work as directed.

Projects may be funded

(or partially funded) by agencies

and programs such as

the Community Development

Block Grant (CDBG) Program

with federal funds provided by

the US Department of Housing

and Urban Development, the

Drinking Water State Revolving

Fund Program (DWSRF),

USDA-Rural Development,

Washington State Department

of Ecology, Washington State

Transportation Improvement

Board (TIB), and other state

and federal funding programs.

As a result, a number of state

and federal equal opportunity

and affirmative action requirements

will apply to this selection

process and the City’s projects.

Submittals will be evaluated and

ranked based on the following

criteria:

1) Specialized engineering

services qualification for the

City’s streets, sidewalks, storm

drainage systems and other

infrastructure improvements.

2) Funding program experience

and success.

3) Firm & Employees experience.

4) Immediate availability to

begin work right away.

5) Familiarity with Ritzville.

An engineering firm will be

considered for selection based

on review by a city selection

committee and will be used as

a source from which to select

one or more qualified firms.

The City reserves the right to

reject any and all submittals.
