During a beautiful sunrise on Jan. 7, 2023, Jerry Williams, 80, lost his battle with Alzheimers and COPD surrounded by loved ones at home. Jerry called Deer Park his home for the last many years, although was also in Spokane, Ritzville, and Yakima Valley for the better part of 40 years. He was born in Yuma, Colo., on Dec. 8, 1942, to Lee and Grace Williams, the youngest of three other siblings. His sister, Connie Newbanks, is the last living relative and still resides in Yuma.
