WASHTUCNA — Rimrock Grange is raising money through its annual Pork Sausage Event.
The Grange is selling meats — German sausage in natural casing and unsmoked, bulk German sausage in plastic bags — to raise funds.
The meet is in one-pound increments.
In addition to the grange fundraiser, several activities are planned for the community during the month of February.
On Feb. 2, the Lion’s Club meets at 6 p.m. Lion’s Club members are seeking volunteers to help with this year’s Independence Day festivities.
In addition to the Lion’s Club, the Town Council and fire commissioners meet on Feb. 8, with a fire department meeting set for Feb. 13.
The Town Council will meet again Feb. 22.
The Food Bank will be open from 3-7 p.m. Feb. 27 and the month’s calendar wraps up with a School Board meeting on Feb. 28.
In other business, the town is seeking mayoral candidates.
Filling for the office is from May 15-19 at the Adams County Courthouse. The election takes place Tuesday, Nov. 7.
