PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to RCW 43.21C.080,

notice is hereby given that Adams

County did on December

19, 2022, make a Determination

of Non-significance (DNS), for

the following rezone proposed

by New Hatton LLC, PO Box

D Othello, WA 99344, who

are requesting to rezone their

property noted below from

PRIME AGRICULTURAL (PA)

to RURAL RESIDENTIAL (RR).

The location of this site-specific

rezone request is located within

the western boundary of the

Town of Hatton and the westerly

most boundary and south

westerly quarterly boundary of

Township 15 Range 32 Section

20.

at 449 E Cedar Blvd,

Othello, Washington. 99344,

Pursuant to WAC 197-11-

340(2), Adams County will not

act on this proposal for at least

14 days from December 21,

2022. Comments on this SEPA

threshold determination must

be received no later than 4:00

PM, Monday January 9th, 2023.

An open record hearing to

consider approval of the abovementioned

project is scheduled

to go before Adams County

Planning Commission on their

meeting agenda set for Thursday,

January 26, 2023, at 10:00

a.m. at which time a public

hearing will be held. The Planning

Commission will consider

written and oral testimony related

to this proposal, during

the public hearing. Prior written

comments related to the rezone

application may be submitted

to the until 4:00 PM, January

9th, 2023, at the address noted

above. After January 9th, 2023,

comments are encouraged to

be presented in person during

the hearing. This meeting will

be held as an on-line meeting

but will also be formally held in

the Conference Room of Adams

County Services Bldg., at 425 E

Main Street Othello, WA 99344

for those who may not be able

to attend on-line. The on-line

meeting can be accessed via

the GoTo Meeting link provided

on the Adams County Planning

Commission page of the Adams

County Web Site under Building

and Planning. In the event of

system changes, specific online

access information will be updated

and posted on the Adams

County Planning Commission

Web site on the Monday prior to

the hearing. A conference call

number will be provided that can

be used to listen and provide

comments when the hearing

is open for public comments.

We encourage everyone who

may wish to comment to try and

submit written comments prior

to the hearing so you don’t have

to worry about your connection.

The project files will also be

posted on the county web site

for the publics review.
